afternoon,
there's
time to head over to the
Bunker/Breed's Hill Monument in Charlestown,
taking in the William Prescott statue,
general prospect
(the tower is closed today due to the heat),
Lodge
(inside
and
out),
descending
to
the
colorful
and
informative
Visitor's
Center
(all
three
floors) --
the way back definitely a traffic adventure, eventually encountering success on a third humid day, now just to the point of precipitation, high 86 / 80 (Boston-Cambridge / Haverhill), 87 back home, serendipitously on the 87th day of summer, 24th high at 80-or-better...
