Amazing! --
Thought we'd all be dead by now, though, sadly,
some are.
But,
for
the
rest,
an
afternoon
(small group)
and
evening
(large)
of
happy
interconnectedness,
first at
Don Gosnay's
comfortable
New Jersey
compound,
and then,
across the Walt Whitman,
to
the
local
County
Club
for
four-or-so hours of mass merriment and intrigue,
capped by a nightcap at Media's
Plumstead Inn.
Before
this,
up
early
with
George and
Bette,
making
the
way
back,
via
476
South
past
many
familiar
sights,
and
95,
contouring
below
and east
of Philadelphia,
to the
Ben Franklin
and
beyond.
After,
return to the folks,
communally reading the racy bits of Geoffrey Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, before, astoundingly, the early-morning trek, re-encountering the Airport. High back home 84, on the 225th day of summer (146 days 80+), locally stuck at 55, though, mercifully, no rain, despite certain predictions...
