Off with George to
Elwyn Station, picking up
sis,
and
eventually
lunch
with Bette
and other friendly folks.
Upon
return,
Chris surprisingly arrives by car,
after which we
migrate to the annual Christmas pageant
(featuring
the
Kaufmans and Beth Bernard's mother),
graced by
carols and settings of prophetic texts utilized in G.G. Handel's Messiah.
Subsequently,
head
cross
campus to
accommodations for the next two nights.
48th day of summer back home, partly sunny, high 55 -- but a cloudy summer session in Concordville, at 71 (highest temp of month thus far).
